Tips for Placing Orders
A few tips:
- You can save your order preferences to streamline the order process (click here)
- You can save your credit card information for future use by selecting “Remember me” when you place your next order (the “Remember me” option comes up when entering your credit card information)
- You can connect your Dropbox, Drive, or Microsoft Box account to Transcription Panda by clicking “Select Files” and selecting one of the options on the left-hand column.
- Hover over the “?” symbol to read more information about a particular transcription option.

If that works, then you can come back to the order form and place the order. You’ll need to manually enter the duration of the audio file(s) you uploaded through the Dropbox link (e.g. if the audio file is 45 minutes long, you’ll need to enter that on the order form).
If that doesn’t work, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll find a solution. Some corporate firewalls prevent uploading files, which is the most common reason for upload errors.
It depends. Files that are larger than 1GB in size can take a long time (20+ minutes) unless you have a fast internet upload speed. Let us know exactly what you need transcribed in the “Notes” section of the order form (e.g. “please transcribe from 00:00:00 to 00:05:35 and from 00:10:00 to 00:50:00”). You may also need to adjust the duration of “Minutes of Audio” on the order form. You only need to pay for the duration of audio we transcribe (e.g. if you upload a 2 hour audio file and only need 20 minutes transcribed, you only need to pay for 20 minutes of transcription).
Yes. The easiest way to do this is to select ALL the files at one time when you upload them through the form.
This may be due to the file extension or the particular way the file is formatted. We recommend uploading directly to our Dropbox account through this link: https://www.dropbox.com/request/Dt3yv0P7BJmHVShzQYrt
The upload is in process, which is normal. You should wait for it to finish. If you’ve been waiting for 10 minutes, check the size of the file. If the file size is larger than 1GB, it may take some time for the file to finish based on your internet upload speed.
